Ida G. Bullinger, 91, passed away August 17, 2008 after a short bout with lung cancer. She was born April 24, 1917 in Mandan, ND to Julius and Clementine Bullinger, the 7th of 14 siblings. Ida was educated in Fallon, ND at St. Peter and Paul School receiving special honors from the County Superintendent upon graduation from the 8th grade and was known as "a happy girl who likes school and people." Ida worked for 45 years and retired at age 75. She was involved with Credit Women's International Association and a 31 year member of the Retail Credit Association. She was an active member of St. James Cathedral for 30 years. Ida is survived by her daughters Charlene Fritz and Kathleen Lowell and son-in-law, Paul Lowell, along with sisters Gen Knoll, Leona Lohstreter, and Marguerite Lien, 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Services were held Friday at St. James and she is laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Tacoma. Donations in memoriam can be made to St. James Cathedral or to Children's Hospital.
