George W. Johnson,
Age 92, was born on February 3, 1916 in Seattle, WA. He met his Lord, who he loved, Sunday July 20, 2008. George was the son of Albin and Anna Eleanor Johnson, brother of Bernice Lindberg and Ruth Blaskowsky. He was the father of Gary, Raymond (Linda), Robert (deceased), and Mark Johnson. He was the husband of Eleanor (deceased) and husband of Hollis Ann. George was grandfather of six and great-grandfather of five. He graduated from Franklin High School, Seattle, and attended the University of Washington. He was an employee of Continental Can Co. and worked as a mechanical engineer for 42 years. He was a devoted Christian and member of Gideon's International. After George retired he enjoyed landscaping, fishing, playing tennis, bowling, golfing, traveling and photography.
We will celebrate the gift of his life to us on Friday, July 25, at 11:00 AM at the Edmonds Church of God . Reception following the service. Viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24th at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home from 1-8 PM or in the Fireside Room at the church from 10 AM - 11 AM before the 11 AM service in the sanctuary.
